Are you a skilled and driven Client Development Project Manager? Aplin has partnered with a growing Ottawa-based organization that’s looking to expand their team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
We’re seeking a Client Development Project Manager to lead complex environmental projects while playing a key role in business development. This is a great opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded professional who’s looking to grow into a leadership role within the Environmental Services Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of environmental assessment and remediation projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients
- Lead proposal development and pursuit strategies
- Drive revenue growth through proactive business development (~50% of the role)
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to project teams
- Ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance, reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Travel to remote northern project sites (especially during summer months)
Background & Experience:
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Earth or Environmental Sciences, or Estimating
- In-depth knowledge of environmental remediation and federal procurement processes
- Experience working with or within Indigenous communities is a strong asset
Technical & Soft Skills:
- Proven business development skills with a track record of turning leads into projects
- Strong communication and project management abilities
- Comfortable leading field programs and managing remote logistics
