The Inside Sales Lead is responsible for managing the Service Counter, ensuring customers receive professional and ethical service. Working closely with the management team, this role supports organizational and departmental goals while developing strategic business relationships to drive future sales.
Relocation to Nunavut, NWT is required for this role.

Responsibilities
- Manage the Building Supply counter, assisting customers and providing product recommendations.
- Achieve and maintain shrink targets to minimize waste and meet financial objectives.
- Maintain inventory levels, process purchase orders, and ensure product availability.
- Oversee all building material and lumber sales within the store.
- Develop strong relationships with customers to understand and fulfill service needs.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Process orders and foster positive relationships with internal and external business partners.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers professionally.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Assist in scheduling, assigning tasks, and managing store staff performance, including coaching, counseling, and conducting performance appraisals.
- Ensure a safe and clean store environment by adhering to health, safety, and security regulations.
- Travel may be required as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a retail environment, preferably in building materials, lumber, hardware, plumbing, or electrical.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Proven ability to train and motivate staff.
- Experience in monitoring and assessing employee performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Effective teamwork and team-building abilities.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must pass required background and credit checks.
