The Role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be the driving force behind generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building. Your focus will be on cold calling, lead generation, and setting qualified meetings to fuel the sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Make 200 to 250 cold calls per day to prospective clients across targeted industries.
- Secure 10 qualified meetings per week for the sales or account management team.
- Research and identify potential leads through various channels.
- Engage prospects with professionalism and enthusiasm, representing the Aplin brand.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities and client interactions in the CRM.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize and refine outreach efforts.
- Demonstrate patience and persistence, following up consistently to convert leads into opportunities.
- Willingness to Learn: Open to feedback and eager to develop new skills.
- Persistence: Patient and determined to make calls until you find the right leads.
- Excellent Communication: Clear, confident, and persuasive in both verbal and written interactions.
- Presentable: Professional demeanor and appearance, able to represent Aplin with credibility.
- Sales Background: Any prior sales experience is welcome, but a positive attitude and drive are most important.

- Continuous Learning: Regular workshops, quizzes, and role-playing exercises designed to sharpen your prospecting, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Performance Analytics: Training progress and performance are tracked through real-time analytics, enabling tailored coaching and continuous improvement.

- 40–50 calls per hour
- 10%+ pick-up ratio
- 40 meetings booked and confirmed per month
- Daily CRM updates and process adherence
