On behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join their Accounts Receivable – Payment Processing team at their conveniently located Head Office in downtown Winnipeg. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately apply a high volume of customer payments to open accounts receivable balances. Payment types include electronic deposits, cheques, and credit cards. Processing methods include
- Excel uploads: when remittance information is received electronically.
- Manual entry: when remittance details are not available electronically.
- Convert customer remittance details from email into Excel format.
- Open and sort incoming mail and cheques into batches for processing.
- Support team members with data entry and special projects as needed.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including filing.
Candidate Profile:
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Good mathematical aptitude with strong reconciliation skills.
- Previous office experience with advanced Excel skills.
- Fast and accurate data entry/typing skills.
