Exciting opportunity for a Commercial Placemenet Broker (Marketing Broker) to become a part of a nationwide insurance brokerage, work on diverse accounts with industry leaders.
About Our Client:
Our client is one of the largest independent brokerage in Western Canada. They are known for their dedicated team focused on delivering the best solution for customers, grown to 10 offices and over 200 people. They are currently in search of a Placement Broker to work with large and complex accounts in various industries.
About The Position:
- Evaluate client risk exposures and determine appropriate insurance solutions
- Market risks to insurers, negotiate terms, and secure competitive coverage
- Prepare and present insurance submissions to underwriters
- Collaborate with producers and account managers to support client placements
- Maintain strong insurer relationships and stay informed on market trends
Job Requirements:
- Level 2 Alberta insurance license
- You have minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Insurance Placement Broker at a brokerage, mainly large and complex accounts
- You have a strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and regulations, and are always looking for creative and innovative solutions
- CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation is an asset
