We are seeking a results-driven and client-focused Senior Loan Officer to join our client's dynamic team in Stettler, Alberta. Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, underwrite, and approve loan applications in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their financial needs are understood and met effectively.

  • Provide expert financial advice and recommend appropriate loan products tailored to individual client circumstances.

  • Conduct in-depth credit analyses and risk assessments to ensure sound decision-making.

  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to grow the loan portfolio through business development activities.

  • Monitor loan performance and take appropriate actions to address any delinquent accounts or risks.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline loan processes and improve client experiences.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, financial regulations, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in loan origination, underwriting, and financial analysis.

  • Strong understanding of lending practices, credit risk management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first approach.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.

  • Solid analytical and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in financial software, loan management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Post-secondary education in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to relocate to Stettler, Alberta
