Aplin, one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, has partnered with an area of the Government of Alberta in NE Edmonton to recruit an Administrative Assistant for a 1-month opportunity with the possibility for extension. This role will start on April 28th.
Previous Administrative experience in the Government of Alberta is required.
Responsibilities:
- Handling incoming phone calls and walk-ins
- Filing, photocopying, faxing, and scanning
- Assisting with email correspondence
- Coding and paying invoices
- Data entry
- Typing briefings for advisors
- Putting together packages
- Records Management duties
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as an Administrative Assistant in the Government of Alberta
- Experience in SharePoint will be an asset
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- A quick learner with exceptional multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
