The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business relationships, educating customers on our products, and ensuring seamless adoption of our equipment and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, industry knowledge, and a results-driven mindset to help our Saskatchewan division thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and cultivate new business relationships in the automotive, trucking, and construction industries.
- Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and follow-up engagements to drive sales.
- Educate customers on our oil and lubricant products, showcasing their financial benefits.
- Train customers on the use of automotive equipment, including transmission, radiator, and brake flush machines.
- Provide ongoing support to ensure customers are confident in offering our products and services to their clients.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including purchasing, invoicing, and inventory management.
- Manage and lead employees, ensuring operational efficiency and team success.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and performance metrics.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the brand and build partnerships.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in sales within the automotive, trucking, or construction industries.
- Background in oil and lubricants, with experience in an automotive shop, as a mechanic, or as a service advisor.
- Familiarity with automotive equipment, including transmission, radiator, and brake flush machines.
- Proven success in customer service excellence and meeting sales goals.
- 3+ years of experience in a management role, overseeing team members and operations.
- Strong networking, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
