Our client, a rapidly growing leader in the field, is currently recruiting for an Area Manager – Retail Operations who is located in the GTA, Markham, Mississauga, Brampton, or Hamilton.
This position requires an energetic, hands on and results-driven Area Manager to oversee multiple retail locations across the GTA. The role will be a mix of 50% remote work and 50% travel to work out of the retail locations. This will be a balance of strategic planning and in-store leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of store managers, ensuring strong performance and engagement.
- Oversee daily store operations, maintaining consistency and high standards across all 7 locations.
- Conduct regular store visits to audit performance, provide coaching, and support key initiatives.
- Collaborate with corporate leadership on business strategies, key performance indicators (KPIs), and process improvements.
- Manage inventory, facilities, marketing initiatives, and customer satisfaction within the region.
- Foster a strong, fun, inclusive team culture, particularly with junior-level staff, ensuring a positive work environment.
- Act as the primary liaison between store locations and the head office support team.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in multi-location retail management (minimum 3 years).
- Strong business operations background, including inventory management, marketing, HR, and customer service.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a focus on coaching and developing teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to change.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong sense of accountability.
- Ability to travel regularly within the GTA and occasionally to out-of-province locations.
- Based in the GTA or Markham, with a preference for candidates located no further than Mississauga, Brampton, or Hamilton.
- Familiarity with operational metrics and KPI-driven performance management.
