Material Handler – Shipping/Receiving – Forklift License Required

Aplin is seeking Material Handlers for our client in Saskatoon. Candidates must possess prior shipping and receiving experience, hold a valid forklift license, and demonstrate flexibility by working overtime when required. This is a fast-paced role that demands attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability.

This is a one month contract with potential of extension.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials.
• Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
• Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Assist in preparing orders for shipment, including labeling and packaging.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and operational goals.
• Adapt to changing workloads and prioritize tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Valid forklift license with proven skills in operating equipment safely.
• Ability to work overtime, including evenings or weekends, when required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is an asset.
