Systems Analyst (C#,XML,Azure DevOps) Contract

Our client is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst (C#,XML, Azure DevOps) to support both new and existing software solutions, addressing a current resource shortage within IT. This role is critical in helping our client  achieve its corporate objectives by ensuring effective application support and development.

Responsibilities:

• Assess business and application requirements, develop solution options, and present recommendations.
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to develop reports that align with project needs and brand guidelines.
• Design and implement comprehensive technical solutions that are maintainable and fit within the current architecture.
• Provide estimates and impact analysis to support business cases for major enhancements or new applications.
• Conduct software evaluations, installations, and upgrades as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience working with XML structures.
• Familiarity with development platforms and languages (C# & PowerShell preferred).
• Ability to execute SQL queries.
• Experience working with source code repositories (preferably TFS/Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of best practices, methods, and standards in software development.
• Exposure to modern development technologies and libraries.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Crystal Reports, SSRS Reports, or similar reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology.
• ServiceNow administration & configuration experience.
• Operational troubleshooting & maintenance experience with FileNet.
• Background in financial services, pension administration, or pension services industries.
