Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon have partnered with a growing Winnipeg organization to hire a Finance Assistant for an immediate opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional with previous accounting experience to join a diverse team supporting both the finance team and senior management group.

  • Starting salary of $53-$60k depending on experience 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team and management team including database management 
  • Prepare and submit Letter of Credit Requests to lenders
  • Maintain monthly reporting
  • Prepare wire requests
  • Distribute Quarterly Financial Statements, along with annual Financial Report
  • Provide backup coverage for preparing, submitting, and monitoring regular loan draw requests, along with development bond applications
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation.
  • Distribute financial statements, tax slips, and reporting to investor owners.
  • Responding to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Organize and maintain records and filing systems.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned to assist the finance department
Qualifications:
  • 3 plus years of experience as an Administrative Assistant 
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration is an asset 
  • Finance, Accounting and/or Banking knowledge and experience
  • Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Legal Assistant, or equivalent would be an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role preferably in a financial institution, law firm or accounting firm environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams, experience with database management
  • Criminal record check is required
