With an emphasis on quality client service and providing an engaging and friendly working environment in a new office, this team is looking for an experienced associate to join their busy group and take on a growing number of files.

Responsibilities

This current opportunity is available for an experienced associate with a solid background in family law. The position would have a sizeable amount of work available for them from the get-go. This work would encompass all aspects of family law, from divorces and separations to spousal support, and property division & division of assets. There would be plenty of opportunities for providing mentorship and guidance to the junior associates and having a hand in the continuing development of the firm. The ideal person would also have experience and thrive in court room settings.


Qualifications
  • Called to the BC Bar and be a member in good standing
  • 3 – 5 years of post call experience with an emphasis on family law
  • Strong experience in conducting trials would be a strong asset
  • Comfortable with a billable target of 1200
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have a team player attitude
