Our client, a leader in heavy construction, specializes in excavation, road building, paving, and utility installations are seeking a driven professional to support project estimating and Project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimating: Identify tenders, assess bid suitability, engage subcontractors/suppliers, and prepare submissions.
- Project Administration: Manage documentation, review timesheets, and process invoices.
- Tracking & Reporting: Monitor production, equipment use, and project schedules.
- Material Coordination: Oversee deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely supply.
- Documentation: Track extra work, submittals, and billing.
- Safety & Quality: Enforce company safety and quality standards.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor’s in Engineering. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education.
- Expertise: Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and timelines.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess tender documents and project requirements.
- Communication: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
